Chandrima Biswas

Chandrima is a consultant obstetrician at Whittington Health NHS Trust in London and specialises in high-risk obstetric care. She has previously held the post of Clinical Director at the Trust. She is the Lead Obstetrician for perinatal quality for the North Central London Integrated Care System.

Chandrima is a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a former president of the Maternity and Newborn Forum at the Royal Society of Medicine. She is editor-in-chief of DK’s ‘The Pregnancy Encyclopaedia’.

She is part of our senior team at the Maternity and Newborn Safety Investigations (MNSI) programme and participates in many of the investigations that focus on maternity care.
